~~ ~~~~Great Camps Brewery is named for the majestic 19th century family compounds built on the breathtaking lakes of the Adirondack Mountains. Designed to reflect the natural beauty of the land around them, these "camps" were built by some of America’s most prominent families, including the Vanderbilts, the Rockefellers, and the Whitneys. Guests at the Camps were treated to fishing, hunting, and boating amidst the fresh clean air of the Adirondacks. Evenings were filled with formal dinners, music, games and adult beverages. Here at Great Camps Brewery, we seek to capture the freshness, excitement, and fun found at these famed retreats by creating homebrews that are as refreshing as a dip in the cool waters of an Adirondack Lake.
